Based loosely on Puccini's 'La Boheme,' 'Rent' follows the lives of a group of friends struggling to make it in the big city. This revolutionary pop-rock opera has electrified a whole generation of theatergoers. With the permission of the Jonathan Larson estate: While retaining the dramatic intent of this groundbreaking musical, minimal changes have been made to language and one song has been deleted.
