Don't miss LA's premiere of the one-man show that wowed over 300 people during its premiere weekend performances at the National Black Theatre in NYC and was named the Mainstage Selection at the first Harlem Arts Festival.
The Situation: In the bustling city of New York, 17 dead poets began their search for an inexpensive and creative way to share their takes on life and love with the living. Unfortunately, simple mind possession isn't what it used to be, and that "Sixth Sense" kid is just too damn busy these days. Someone like Britney Spears would have been nice and high profile, but with all her antics, who would believe it and what would be the point?
Consider Gordon James, a not-so-famous actor, whose mind was a blank page waiting to be typed on. He wasn't bad on the eyes either. He was an easy target for possession. It was a match made in heaven, or at least Hell's Kitchen.
The Result: Seventeen dead poets will inhabit one human body to discuss life, love, and trying to get a cab in the big city. But be forewarned: We are not responsible for any parts of you revealed during this experience!
Praise from the Press
“I have seen Gordon James at work and he is an incredible talent. Do not miss this show”
- Shonda Rhimes, creator and executive producer of Grey’s Anatomy
“A brazen performer!” - Washington Blade
“Bursting out with poetry: One-man sensation shares the gift of love by way of several characters…Dynamic!” - Venus Magazine
Come catch a spirit and let that spirit move you!
