Water has become a global issues for billions of people across the globe. The important linkage between water and food production is now becoming very apparent.

Come join the discussion focused event about what is happening in our own backyard and globally with issues surrounding water and food production. Share knowledge, ideas, concerns, and projects that have an effect our our health, communities and ecosystems.
Various representatives from various local organizations will be available to give their perspectives on the local and global situation of water and food production.

This event is a continuation of a previous event the Development Studies Club hosted in March 2008 about issues with water and the oil sands development in Northern Alberta.

Free refreshments will be offered.
