Ottoman Embroideries and Other Ornament May 29, 2007

On display at the museum are 18th and 19th century embroidered textiles from Greece, Asia Minor, Armenia, Algeria and other regions of the former Ottoman Empire. A selection of these works will be shown with pieces of other media, displaying many of the typical ornamental motifs of Ottoman decorative art.
