Otto Piene: Lichtballett October 23, 2011

This will be an exhibition of Otto Piene's 'light ballets' - environments of kinetic light sculptures that became mechanized in the 1960s. Along with some of Piene's significant early work, the exhibition will include several light sculptures from various decades, as well as a newly commissioned site-specific work, 'Lichtballett, 2011,' which was created for this exhibition.
