Originally from the mangue-beat scene from Recife, Northeast of Brazil,
Otto performed with Nação Zumbi (the band of Chico Science) and
Mundo Livre S/A, until he pursued a solo carrier in 1997. He has
released four highly acclaimed albums of live music combining
Afro-Brazilian vibes with dub, drum & bass and psychedic
rock. He is a major figure-head in Brazil for the
progressive music scene there and Deep
