Ottawa New Energy Network - January Event January 31, 2007

By the end of 2006, environmental issues and specifically climate change, had become a top policy concern for the electorate at large. Survey's have indicated it is the most important issue on peoples' minds, and governments as well as industry appear to be taking notice. It is however, a long way from awareness to the point where people take responsibility (individually and collectively) for the future challenges.

In the spirit of providing action-oriented information, we have secured two excellent speakers for our event this month.

Robert Beriult will be speaking about peak oil and what we can do to insure against some of the consequences, and
Jeff Knapp will speak to us about the practical application of building a solar water heater.
