OTNV Presents The Nightingale November 12, 2006

Opera Theatre of Northern Virginia presents its 32nd opera for children and familes, Charles Strouse's The Nightingale. The song of the nightingale enchants the Chinese emperor, but when a mechanical bird replaces the real nightingale, all is not well at the palace. This family opera is based on Hans Christian Andersen's The Emperor and the Nightingale. Sung in English.
