OTHON & TOMASINI are Greek composer/pianist Othon Mataragas and Italian actor/singer Ernesto Tomasini. Othon's original and unclassifiable repertoire, coupled with his virtuoso piano playing, and Tomasini's huge range and unique renditions make for an intense experience that is as dark as it is lyrical. Haunting music, deranged performance and heightened theatricality are Othon & Tomasini's trademarks.

Since 2007 they have performed all over Europe in prestigious concert halls (Queen Elizabeth Hall, London), churches (Oratorio San Filippo Neri, Turin), museums (Centro Galego de Arte Contemporanea, Santiago de Compostela), cultural institutes (Art House Ekvasisa, Athens), clubs (INIT, Rome) and theatres (Teatro Lara, Madrid).
In 2008 they were chosen by designer Nasir Mazhar to perform and model his creations at the "London Fashion Week" and in 2009 they were special guests at Marc Almond's concert in London's legendary Roundhouse, performing before a captive audience of 3000. In 2010 they made their West End debut at the Leichester Square Theatre and performed at the National Portrait Gallery in London and more recently the Chelsea Arts Theatre.
.

Othon's critically acclaimed debut album "Digital Angel", which includes performances by Tomasini, Marc Almond and David Tibet (of Current 93), was released in 2008. His first single (featuring Almond and Tomasini) was released in October 2011 and his second album, "Impermanence", with Tomasini and Almond back as guest singers, this time alongside Irish chanteuse Camille O'Sullivan, came out in November 2011 on the Cherry Red/SFE label. Othon & Tomasini's first music video, shot in Copenhagen, was released at around the same time. Their second video came out, with their third single, in April 2012 and was premièred at Tate Britain in London. They also feature on the soundtrack of Bruce La Bruce's movie "Otto; or, Up with Dead People". In 2008 they were chosen by the late Peter Christopherson (legendary "father of industrial music", founder of seminal bands Psychic TV, Throbbing Gristle and Coil) to be part of a live performance of his 1985 soundtrack for Derek Jarman's "The Angelic Conversation". In 2010 they were the subject of a one hour special on Spanish National Radio, in which they performed live for the second time.

Their appearances in the English capital include a performance at the 2008 London Fashion Week (for Lady Gaga's milliner Nasir Mazhar), a concert at the Queen Elizabeth Hall and a spot at the Roundhouse where, as Marc Almond's special guests, they performed before a captive audience of 3000. In 2010 they made their West End debut at the Leicester Square Theatre and played to capacity at the National Portrait Gallery. 2011 saw the launch of the "Impermanence" album at the Chelsea Theatre with an all-star line-up that included Almond and Justin Jones (And Also The Trees).
