Masquerade and Mask dances of the African Deities. Each of the masks represent past ancestors of the origin the mask is taken from. These ancestors represent the community as protectors and cleansers of unwanted spirits. This simply means that they purify the environments and bring forth sanity and peace. Osun Arts Foundation is an African Arts not-for-profit organisation aims to create awareness of neglected traditional African arts and culture, and to encourage the understanding of Britain as a vibrant multicultural society.
