Please join us at the Cleveland Play House Club, 8100 Carnegie Ave., Cleveland, at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21 for our annual meeting. Our speaker will be Josh Mandel. Josh served as an intelligence specialist in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, having graduated first in his class from Marine Corps boot camp and first in his class from Marine Corps intelligence school. In 2004, Josh served a combat tour in Iraq, where he operated with the 1st Marine Division from Fallujah to the Syrian border.
Josh holds a bachelor?s degree from the Ohio State University, where he served two terms as the Undergraduate Student Government president. He also holds a law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
Josh serves on the city council in Lyndhurst, where he was elected with more votes than any candidate running for council or mayor. On council, Josh serves on the safety and finance committees and is chairman of the roads and utilities committee.
After finishing his active duty time in the Marines, Josh started the Groveland Company, a consulting firm. He is 28 years old, was born and raised in the Cleveland area, and is committed to staying here to work, get married, and raise his children.
Elections will be head for officers and the board of directors at the meeting. The candidates will be introduced and additional nominations will be taken prior to the election at the annual meeting.
Light refreshments will be served, and there will be a cash bar.
