Oregon Room Grand Opening January 22, 2011

You're invited to the grand opening of "The Oregon Room," our latest interactive and dynamic exhibit that highlights Oregon's topography, geology, geography and points of interest. During the event visitors will be able to participate in Oregon-themed crafts and activities and peruse educational displays from the Willamette Agate and Mineral Society and Oregon Ocean Restoration project team among others. Families will be able to have their picture taken with Sal the Golden Pioneer, courtesy of Travel Salem. Goodie bags with Oregon-themed literature and freebies will be handed out to the first 150 visitors. Free with admission. The exhibit is currently open, so you are welcome to stop by and explore any time.
