The Fiddlers are a gem of an electric/eclectic band playing groove/texture, solos, ensemble improv, passionate rollicking, sensitive, fun music.
JP CARTER is one of the great young talents in this city. It’s not only what he plays that is so outstanding, it’s aesthetic of sound, his ability to find unusual choices in his interactions with other players and his humour and imagination.
CHAD MacQUARRIE is a guitar player that epitomizes energy, sensitivity, and lots of ideas.
TOMMY BABIN plays electric bass with attention to every detail of what goes in the ensemble. He’s becoming the ubiquitous bassist in town because of the passion in his playing the individuality of his personal voice on his instrument, and his energy both as a rhythm section player and as a soloist.
SKYE BROOKS is a tremendous drummer. He can play with power, sensitivity and improvise with the compositional sense of the skilled composer/songwriter that he is.
COAT COOKE is a lyrical and provocative alto/tenor saxophonist that writes the material and leads this group dynamic band.
