Oratorio Society of Virginia: Christmas at the Paramount December 19, 2009

The Christmas concert by the Oratorio Society has become a family tradition, presenting a holiday program that contains a wide variety of choral and instrumental expressions that celebrates the season. This year, the Christmas Cantata by Daniel Pinkham will be featured as well as new choral arrangements by the Canadian Brass, and accompaniment by brass ensemble, hand bells and percussion that suits the Christmas spirit. The 100-voice chorus will be directed by L. Thomas Vining and there will be opportunities for the audience to join in singing some familiar carols.
