Hitchcock Nature Center- Visit Hitchcock to learn all about the only marsupial that naturally resides in Iowa. Discover how mother opossums care for their young and how these nocturnal animals find there way around at night.
This pre-school program is designed for children ages 3-6 years and their parents. This unique program is full of hands-on learning, a story, a craft, and outdoor exploration. Program Fee: $4.00 per child. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please meet at the Loess Hills Lodge. Call 712-545-3283 for more information.
