The Nevin Kelly Gallery, located at 1517 U Street, NW, Washington, DC, will host a two-artist exhibition of works by Washington, DC artists Sondra N. Arkin and Mary Beth Ramsey from June 7 until July 19, 2006. The exhibition, titled Poetic License, will feature mixed media assemblage works that focus on legacy and the power of the written word. The gallery will host an opening reception with the artists on Thursday, June 8, from 6 until 9 o?clock p.m. The public is invited. The gallery will also host two separate artists? talks, at which both artists will talk about their work and answer questions from the public. The first of these talks will be on Sunday, June 11, from 2 until 4 o?clock, p.m. The second talk will be on Sunday July 16, also from 2 to 4 p.m.
