BFUU invites you to an opening of the Hal Carlstad Social Justice Center at the Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists. Speakers will include Cindy Sheehan, Vic Sadot (Social Justice Chair) and Gene Herman (Coordinator of the Center). There will be live music, refreshments, and a drawing for a DVD of the film, The End of Poverty?, which was recently shown in historic Fellowship Hall. The Center has been named in memory of Hal Carlstad who was a long time leader of social activism at BFUU and the Bay Area. It will house a library of relevant books and an extensive film collection. The Center is to be located in the Fireside Rm. On the second floor of the Education bldg., and will be staffed from 11-5, M-F.
