Opening: NMSU Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition May 9, 2008

New Mexico State University seniors from the Department of Art present their graduation show, NMSU Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition, for a limited engagement, May 9-17. This is an annual event, with works on display at both the Las Cruces Museum of Art and the Branigan Cultural Center. The joint opening reception, with artists in attendance, is Friday May 9, in the courtyard of the Cultural Center, from 5-7 p.m.

Works exhibited include a variety of fine arts media and graphic design. All exhibits at the Museum, located at 491 N. Main St. in the downtown mall, are accessible and free to the public.

Concurrently at the Museum of Art, visitors can see Fire & Fiber, Hand in Hand, a collaborative show between the Potters Guild of Las Cruces and fiber artists. For more information about exhibits and Studio Programs art classes call 505-541-2137 or visit the website http://museums.las-cruces.org.
