Open-door-atelier-week: Demo exhibition and Christmas Ideas. November 18, 2007

Elena Habicher (Zurich) and Albrecht Klink (Berlin) are pleased to announce their duet exhibition.

I am happy to welcome you to my open-door-atelier-week and invite you for a selfcurated demo exhibition.
The exhibition in my studio in Zurich it is a small event with the whole week open door schedule and aperitifs in the evenings. I am going to show my selected small works on plastic and wood sculptures of Berlin based artist Albrecht Klink as well as present my art T-shirts and some other Christmas ideas.

Berlin! Berlin! Where else I could meet Albrecht Klink. When I saw his works I found my self surprised how different our art was: he works with wood and I work with plastic; sculptures and paintings; man and women. So, I asked him to show his works at my studio in Zurich.

Albrecht Klink was born 1962 in Weil am Rhein, Germany. Although his grandfather and his father were sculptors, Albrecht Klink decided to become a medical technic. Only later he discovered a love for sculpture; he gave up the medical technology and began to work on small sculptures with bronze and stone and later with wood. Albrecht Klink`s figures reflect the different moods and feelings of people. Sometimes it is a passing time, a captured smile, a kiss on the mouth or something evil in eyes. One need to spend some time to look at his works in order to discover a story of each of his figures are telling.
