Open Auditions September 15, 2012

Auditions for the 2012 PDM Productions, Inc of The Nutcracker Sweet are just one week away... Saturday, September 15, 2012!

There is no audition fee and the audition is open to the community.

We are looking for all levels of dancing and acting. If you are not sure which audition to attend, please email [email protected] with your specific question.

Please read the following important details carefully.

This year, auditions will take place at Deep Run High School, 4801 Twin Hickory Road, Glen Allen. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled audition time for registration, as noted below. Registration will take place in the cafeteria.

11:30 - 12:30 (arrive at 11:00) Ages 5 - 8

12:30 - 1:30 (arrive at 12:00) Ages 12 - Adult (for Actors, beginning dancers and non-dancers ONLY)

1:30 - 2:30 (arrive at 1:00) Ages 9 - 12

2:45 - 4:30 (arrive at 2:15) Ages 12 - 18 (please bring pointe shoes, as a portion of this audition is En Pointe)

5:15 - 6:15 Call backs (the Directors will advise you if you need to attend)

Please bring along your completed Audition Application and Contract of Commitment Form, filled out and signed. This form can be found on page 3 of the 2012 Audition Packet.

Please arrive for the audition with hair pulled back, wearing appropriate dance attire and footwear, warmed up and ready to dance. Once the door to the auditorium is closed, no one else will be allowed to enter for that audition, so please be on time!

Parents, please plan to wait in the cafeteria so that you may pick up your child promptly upon dismissal of his/her audition. We are in a public space this year, so parental supervision is vital. Children should not be allowed to wander through the building.

Audition results will be posted on this website on Wednesday, September 19. If you would like immediate notification when results are posted, please subscribe to this website before that date.
