400 S. Main St.
Los Angeles, California 90013

Join us for an evening with writers from the online magazine Thought Catalog! They’ll read their best work, answer questions about the future of online literature, and explain how the internet is actually making us smarter. (We’re hoping by “internet” they mean “cat videos.”)

Some of the lovely people who’ll be there include:

DAVE SCHILLING is a stand-up comic and the host of a monthly comedy variety show, Hottt Newww Videooo!!! w/ Dave Schilling, at the
Hollywood Improv Lab in Los Angeles, CA. Soon you can see him in the feature film adaptation of Tao Lin’s novella, “Shoplifting from
American Apparel,” which is currently making the rounds of the festival
circuit.

TALIA RALPH is a writer and wannabe American from
Montreal, Canada. She recently graduated from Emerson College, where she honed her OCD and pizza-eating skills during a stint as managing editor of award-winning Gauge Magazine. She now lives in Los Angeles, which at times confuses and thrills her. She’s followable on Twitter!

LIZ SHANNON MILLER is based in Los Angeles where she currently writes for G4′s “Attack of the Show“; her work has been published by the New York Times, Variety, GigaOM, Nerve, The Wrap and other publications. She also writes plays, and tells her friend Frank about stuff, and has a great recipe for homemade mac ‘n cheese. Email her!

BEBE ZEVA attends college and identifies herself as a cool-hunter, people-watcher, and relevant wallflower. She has been profiled in Vice, the New York Times, Elle and GQ. She is also the focus of a documentary titled ‘BEBE ZEVA,’ directed by Tao Lin & Megan Boyle. She intends to pursue a career in journalism and sociology, earning an income doing exactly what her mother said not to do: judge people.
