One More Night at Elving's Metropolitan Yiddish Theater November 3, 2010

This exhibition celebrates Elving's Metropolitan: Newark's and New Jersey's only commercially successful Yiddish theater, which was a neighborhood favorite, attended by everyone from school children to the legendary gangster Longy Zwillman. The 30 panels highlight stars of the Yiddish stage. This exhibition is on loan from the Jewish Historical Society of Metro West.
