Together for nearly a decade now, the undiminished enthusiasm and dedication of the members of One for All for their sextet is extraordinary. Although each of their careers apart has provided fulfilling opportunities and recognition, it is in their collaboration with this group that they find pure enjoyment--an authenticity not lost on their fans. Often compared to the legendary bands of Blakey and Miles, One for All puts its own, unmistakable stamp on modern jazz featuring the writing and arranging of Eric Alexander, Jim Rotondi, Steve Davis, and David Hazeltine. The band will be celebrating will be celebrating its new release 'Smokin' and Swingin' which is included in the Smoke 10 Year Anniversary Box Set.
