Who Are We?

One Billion Literates Foundation is a Bangalore, India based non profit charitable trust (IT 12-A 80-G) started in July 2010 by Anamika Majumder and later supported by other like minded professionals who have several years of work experience. The mission of the foundation is to impart good quality education with a strong focus on computer literacy to children (our future workforce), women and unemployed youth.

What Is Our Vision?

Just like the cell phone revolution in the country has touched 900 million lives, we dream of an India where every citizen is able to take advantage of the computer because only technology and good quality education has the potential to make the kind of impact needed in our country so that everyone can have a dignified existence.
