Berkeley Playhouse presents Once On This Island, a soul-stirring Caribbean tale of love and loss. This moving story, based on Hans Christian Anderson’s The Little Mermaid is a non-stop parade of colorful characters and hip-swaying choreography and music. Another hit from the creators of Ragtime, Once on This Island premiered on Broadway in 1990 and received 8 Tony nominations and was the winner of the Olivier award for Best Musical.
