New York, New York, it's a wonderful town. From the Bronx to the Battery, three sailors on leave have a great time on the town. Innocent Gabey has fallen for a photo of 'Miss Turnstiles' so his pals, ladies man Ozzie, and Chip, split up to help find her. Ozzie finds snooty Clare DeLoone, Chip gets cabbie Hildy Esterhazy. They only have 24 hours, so everyone has to move fast and make fast moves. The play's music is by Leonard Bernstein, the book and lyrics are by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. Some featured songs are: 'New York, New York,' 'Come Up to My Place,' 'Gabey's Coming,' 'I Can Cook, Too,' 'Subway Ride,' 'Lucky to be Me,' 'Times Square Ballet' and 'Lonely Town.'
