Ombak CD release party May 4, 2011

Ombak is pleased to announce the release of its second album, Fan Bricks, available for digital download on May 4th, 2011. We'll be celebrating with a special performance at Balliceaux that night featuring music from Fan Bricks, Framing the Void and a few surprises. Snowpanda will DJ between sets.

Fan Bricks captures the sounds that we've been exploring during our mostly-monthly residency at Balliceaux, including original tunes by Bryan Hooten and Trey Pollard as well as music from Ornette Coleman and the Tuvan Tradition.

At the show, fans will be able to purchase a limited edition poster with download code featuring artwork by Suzanna Fields and design by Cary Ralston. The album will be available at www.ombak.bandcamp.com as well as other online music stores.
