Omaha Flickr Photowalk - March '09 March 21, 2009

Flickrites, join us for for part or all of these activities: a photowalk in South O, lunch, and another photowalk at the Durham Museum.
10am: meet at the corner of 24th & N St. (See Google street view) and we'll walk along 24th St. There's a lot of old buildings and interesting storefronts between L and Q.
11:30ish we'll have lunch either at one of the Mexican restaurants around there or someplace downtown
1pm we'll meet inside the great hall in Durham Museum (website). Admission is free for members and $7 for adults. There are 2 levels of free parking next to Durham. The museum is located at 801 S 10th St.
Please note, no external light sources are allowed at Durham without paying a "professional photographer" fee so bring a tripod but leave the fancy flashes at home.
In case of rain or snow (stranger things have happened), we'll skip the South O walk and lunch and just go to Durham.

Do you think I can park at Durham at 10am and not get towed since I will be there later? Or do they monitor the parking lot extensively?

I have no idea on parking there. Are you coming to the South O part of the walk? Just so you know, it's definitely not walking distance from Durham. :)

I guess I should have looked at the map. That would be a little more walking than I was anticipating. See you at 10am.
