100 Bancroft Plz
Omaha, Nebraska 68108

This will be a weekday evening photo walk at Omaha's botanical gardens. They have "twilight Tuesdays" all summer. The gardens are amazing and there is LOTS to photograph. In addition to the gardens, there is Kenefick Park which has the giant train engines you can see from I-80 when coming into Omaha from Iowa.

Check out the Official Website. Please note the Garden Etiquette rules, among them - no tripods.

Admission:
Adults: $7
Children ages 6 to 12: $3
No fee for members of Lauritzen Gardens and children under 6 years of age

We'll meet inside the lobby at 6pm and walk the gardens til 8. Afterwards, if anyone wants to, we can head to the Old Market for ice cream at Ted & Wally's.

Hope to see you there!

Be advised, there is a $125 "sitting fee" if you are taking portraits at the Gardens.

I went there tonight to take some pictures of my daughter and her friend. We were really excited about getting some pretty backdrops for their pictures and enjoying the live music that was going on tonight.

But, we never made it past the front door, as they said I'd have to pay this sitting fee to take any pictures of the kids.
