Thursday, June 4th at 7pm: Drew Crooks: Olympia historian Drew Crooks is hard at work finishing his book "A Time of Great Fear: Olympia During the Puget Sound Indian Wars;" which is to say that the book isn't out yet, and we wait for it with bated breath. But as long as we are celebrating Olympia's 150th birthday, please come to hear the fascinating and bloody history of this parcel of land -- the 1855-56 Puget Sound War, when Chief Leschi chose to fight rather than give up the Nisqually tribe's land, and the tragic consequences.
