Ologunde celebrates the rich Afro-Brazilian culture of Salvador, Bahia through a diverse repertoire of music and dance. The recently formed New York-based 15-member ensemble brings together an array of Brazilian artists, including former members of Bale Folclorico da Bahia and DanceBrazil, under the direction of noted percussionist Dende from the Timbalada band.
