Oktoberfest Beer Tasting October 22, 2010

The Oktoberfest Beer Tasting will be a fun eventa and you're not required to wear liderhosen. THis event highlights the fall and winter flavors of the highly sought-after seasonal beers of the New Belgian Brewing Company. This one-of-a-kind evening will be held Friday, October 22nd. If you like experiencing new beers, mark your calendar for this unforgettable, two-hour event. The Oktoberfest beer tasting is $30 and open to everyone 21 and older. The tasting begins at 7:00p.m. inside the picturesque 12th Floor Wine Bar & Cocktail Lounge. It takes the guesswork out of ordering and buying wine (and beer) and helps guests get a feel for the kinds of spirits they really like, without making a big investment in bottles whose contents you might not like anyway. With admission, guests will receive a flight of the night’s featured wines or beers, plus learn about the nuances and finer points of each from winery representatives or brewers. During each Wine Down, guests will also learn how to make creative and innovative cocktails from Fantasy Springs’ beverage manager, Dan Thomas. Guests also receive samples of all the cocktails Dan makes, as well as a gourmet cheese plate with the admission price. Guests must be 21 or older to attend the Weekly Wine Down (or beer tasting).
