Okkervil River began with two high school friends in New Hampshire who decided to pack up, move to Austin, and start a band. Since then, the band has had ups and downs, but has mostly been met with critical acclaim. Their blend of folk-rock sensibilities and alternative rock swagger has made them a favorite at venues across the country.
