Our next Science Cafe will explore the largest oil spill in our lifetime. Dr. J. P. Walsh, a geological oceanographer with the Department of Geological Sciences and Institute of Coastal Science and Policy at East Carolina University, will explore the unique geological nature of this spill and how we can better protect our nation’s coastlines in the future. You won’t want to miss this exciting exploration of a current crisis that will ultimately affect everyone in the United States.
