The Oak Hill Business and Professional Association (OHBPA) is pleased to present an economic update from Angelou Economics, one of the largest economic development firms in the nation and an important part of the Austin community. This event is part of OHBPA's mission to promote the economic development of Southwest Austin and we are able to bring you this exciting program at a very affordable cost. Mr. Colson will give us insight on this struggling economy with the renown Angelou Economic Forecast, Global Trends, and Local Impact.
Bio: Jim Colson, CEcD, COO and President of Site Selection
Jim Colson serves as the Chief Operating Officer and President of Site Selection at Angelou Economics, one of the largest economic development and site selection firms in the nation. Prior to joining AE, Jim founded and served as the President of Growing Economies International, a site location and advisory firm with both national and international clients, and was the founding President and CEO of the New Mexico Partnership, the public/private economic development and business recruitment organization established by Governor Bill Richardson. Jim has also held senior economic development positions at the City of Glendale (AZ), the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, the Arizona Department of Commerce, and the University of Michigan's Industrial Development Division.

The Oak Hill Business and Professional
Association (OHBPA) exists to bring local businesses, business people, and civic

support a high quality of life in Oak Hill. This is done through monthly general
membership meetings, guest speakers of interest to the business community, a
monthly newsletter, a publicly distributed membership directory, and periodic
special events. We intend for local businesses and civic groups to benefit by
increased business activity, more effective delivery of goods and services,
development of strong personal relationships, and a higher quality of life for
all of Oak Hill.
