150 Attorney St.
New York City, New York

Four of the fiercest bands on the East Coast come to Sin-e for one night only. Officer May (Ace Fu) combines blistering, fractured guitar bombast with gruff, world-weary vocals, illustrating a panicked frustration with the mundane that has been described by Alternative Press as "inventive and intelligent" and by the Boston Phoenix as "a beautiful mess." The Lot Six (Tarantulas) spent 2004 touring with just about everyone, including The Distillers, Sahara Hotnights, Gibby Haynes, and Head Automatica. Fiercely anti-authoritarian, The Dead Betties are a hard-edged, feminist all-male rock band out of Brooklyn whose devastating, anarchic sound has alternately been described as "cyclonic hardcore" (The Boston Globe), "explosive" (San Francisco Bay Guardian) and "heavy art-rock" (Time Out New York).

Show starts at 8 pm. Doors open at 7:30. $8/21+.
