Friday, December 7th – Come celebrate First Fridays After Five
The galleries come alive with performances by Gregangelo & Velocity Circus! Holiday shopping at the Museum Store and Feria Urbana. Enjoy musical guest Candido Oye-Oba, yoga in the galleries, and Artists of Invention: A Century of CCA.

Saturday, December 8th – Access and Activism
Access programs include a tactile tour of the History Gallery’s textile collection, multicultural tales by signing storyteller Diane Ferlatte, a Krip-Hip-Hop Black Blind Blues CD Workshop with Leroy Moore, and the Axis Dance Company. Behind-the-scenes curator tours, an architectural tour, and a panel of young Oakland arts activists.

Sunday, December 9th – Family Celebration Day
A fun-filled day for the whole family! Kick it off with a special ceremony at noon to honor the museum’s past and welcomes its future. Enjoy hands-on activities, music, dance performances, and other surprises!
