3 Different Programs | 2 World-class Choreographers | 1 Extraordinary Company

World premieres by ODC's acclaimed choreographers, Brenda Way and KT Nelson, and the return of five ODC repertory favorites.

"ODC's choreography is a reflection of the American spirit. Take a risk. Make a dare. Leap." - San Francisco Chronicle

Program 1 features the world premiere "Waving Not Drowning (A Guide to Elegance)" by ODC Founder and Artistic Director Brenda Way. A wry consideration of culture, fashion, manners and appropriate feminine perspective. Collaborating with Pamela Z, Way uses a French etiquette manual as inspiration for a humorous but pointed reflection on evolving ideas of gender and of gender itself as a performance.

Program 2 features KT Nelson's new work "Labor of Love." Set to Mozart's Piano Concerto no. 2, the full company explores the challenges, the push and pull, of committed adult love as four couples struggle to hold their relationships together in the face of argument and discord.
