ODC Theater Reopens with ODC/Dance: Architecture of Light September 30, 2010

ODC celebrates the opening of its new building, ODC Theater, and the culmination of founding director Brenda Way's vision for a dynamic center for contemporary dance with the commission of her new site-specific work Architecture of Light. Created in collaboration with Co-Artistic Director KT Nelson and conceived as a poetic journey through the new space, Architecture of Light invites audiences to see and interact with the facility as a frame for artistic investigation. The building will dazzle with light installations designed by internationally-acclaimed visual artist Elaine Buckholtz, a commissioned score by Jay Cloidt and the fulsome energy of fifteen guest dancers joining ODC's ten powerful company members.
