October Gaskell Ball - A Victorian Masquerade / Costume Ball October 30, 2010

Ye Gaskell Occasional Dance Society presents a Victorian-style Masquerade / Costume Ball. Attire yourself in Fancy Dress as the Victorian would have and Enjoy dancing Waltes, Polkas, Schottisches, Set Dances, and other Victorian-era Ballroom Dances to Live Music by the Brassworks in the beautiful ballroom of Oakland's Scottish Rite Center.
Cost: $20
Dress: Victorian-inspired Fancy Dress or 19th - 21st century Formal Attire.
Ages: Teens to Adults
Please bring potluck "finger food" snacks to share.
Doors open 7:30pm for a 40 min. dance workshop.

There will also be a beginners' dance class during the afternoon (3:45pm - 6:15pm) at the same venue for a separate cost of $10 per person.
