October Focus 412 October 4, 2008

So, we, the folks of Focus412 have decided to do another group show. We've decided to tie this into the Pittsburgh 250 festivities that will be going on, and we're setting it up for October 4th.

What we're looking for are pictures of the icons that make this city great. What's an icon?

The People.
The Buildings.
The Flavors.
The Ideas.

Whatever it is that makes this city unique to you. That thing you show off whenever you have a friend coming in from out of town. That thing you see everyday in Pittsburgh that no one else in the world has. That restaurant, that bartender, that politician, that old lady down the block who makes great pierogi. Whatever is your Pittsburgh is, we want to see it.

Looking for inspiration? Check out some of your contact's favorites, their most interesting shots. Gather them up and go out and shoot with them. Hit a part of the city you haven't been to yet. Think of the typical things that everyone in this city know, take them off your list, and find something that means the most to you.

P.S. There will also be a band playing that night, if you want to pay the cover, that's cool, but if you mention the Photoshow it will get you in for free.
