What does the winter night sky look like? Including views of the Moon (on some nights), of Jupiter and many other stars, nebulae, clusters etc, using the naked eye, binoculars and telescopes.
If the sky is clear then we will have telescopes to show you the features of the night sky, including a tour of key constellations, star clusters, nebulae and more.
If the sky is not clear then we will deliver short (approximately 30 minutes) presentations about the sun, moon, planets, stars, clusters, nebulae and galaxies.
We will also have some small meteorites at the observatory and provide visitors with star charts and other information to take away and use by themselves.
