Oblisk w/Flora and Fawna May 2, 2008

The boys and girls of Oblisk present a psychedelic wall of sound for your enjoyment. Singer Asim Akhtar takes a page from the book of Black Sabbath era Ozzy Osbourne and is backed by a capable group of musicians reminiscent of early Jefferson Airplane and the Black Hollies with just a twinge of folk. Breezy guitars, explosive drums and dark grooves make it rock. The group just released their first full-length album titled “Tune In/Tune Out.”
