Obama Supporters at RG4N's "Paws Across Northcross" Rally March 1, 2008

Local volunteers from the Barack Obama campaign will be at the Northcross Mall this Saturday March 1st at 10am asking people to vote for Barack Obama and signing people up for canvassing the neighborhood. Please join us.

We'll be at the Responsible Growth for Northcross (RG4N) "Paws Across Northcross Rally." As you may know, RG4N (www.rg4n.org) was created to protest Wal-mart moving into a high density area where the neighbors feel a Super Wal-mart is grossly inappropriate for the area. RG4N is expecting 1,000 people to attend with their dogs to make noise. Last year, they had about 2,000 people answer the call for an "arms around Northcross Rally."

The RG4N people have been kind enough to let the Obama volunteers set up a table, but they've asked the Obama supporters to be clear that RG4N are NOT endorsing Obama, nor anyone else for that matter.

This is a great opportunity for Obama supporters to highlight the difference between Obama and Clinton, as Clinton was a Wal-mart board member between 1986 and 1992. Dare they say to this crowd, "A vote for Clinton is a vote for Wal-mart?"
