Obama Spiderman Comic Book Release Party January 14, 2009

Comic Book Artist Todd Nauck and writer Zeb Wells are promoting their 5-page backup story in Spiderman #583 teaming up Barack Obama and Spiderman.

Barack Obama meets Spidey when the superhero thwarts an Inauguration Day scheme perpetrated by the villainous Chameleon.

Todd and Zeb will be signing autographs (free) and talking to fans. Todd will also be drawing sketches for fans (small fee).

Customers have the chance to buy the LIMITED EDITION VARIANT OBAMA COVER. Since this cover was printed in limited numbers, it has the possibility of becoming a very hard to get collector's item.

Zeb Wells is a comic book writer best known for his work on several Marvel books (Heroes for Hire, Civil War: Young Avengers/Runaways, various Spiderman titles). He also writes and does voice work for the TV show Robot Chicken.

Todd Nauck is a comic book artist who has worked for DC, Marvel, and Image extensively (Teen Titans Go!, Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman). He's most known for his work on DC's Young Justice and his own creation Wildguard.
