O.A.R. (aka Of a Revolution) converted from an Ohio State frat band to Billboard chartbuster and headliner at major venues across America. O.A.R., likened to Dave Matthews Band, consists of lead singer/rhythm guitarist Marc Roberge, lead guitarist Richard On, saxist Jerry DePizzo, bassist Benj Gershman and drummer Chris Culos. Gomez is one of the few bands in the current crop of English rockers to incorporate bluesy elements into its music. The group's 1998 debut album, 'Bring It On,' earned critical raves and the prestigious Mercury Prize. Gomez's latest CD is 'In Our Gun.'
