The concert is devoted to percussion and dance and features the work of the following teachers and participating Oakland Schools.

OYC Teachers:
Robbie Belgrade, Julia Chigamba, Ronnie Daliyo, Daniel Faiver, Mario Garza-Gonzales, Joni Haastrup, Lee Hetelson, Hadley Louden, Hector Lugo, Javier Navarrette

Participating Schools:
Achieve, ACORN Woodland, EnCompass, Franklin, Fruitvale, Garfield, Hillcrest, Sequoia, Think College Now, and World.

OYC's Music In the Schools program features Music of Our World percussion and dance programs in elementary and Miracle Choruses for elementary school singers. Students learn and perform a fun and challenging repertoire of multicultural music with OYC's faculty of professional educators and performing musicians.

OYC Mission: The Oakland Youth Chorus provides a cross-cultural music education and performance program for youth, fostering talent, confidence, and community.

$5.00 suggested donation per family.
