Oakland Youth Chorus' Let the Music Ring - Annual Holiday Concert December 13, 2008

Join the Oakland Youth Chorus for its 34th annual holiday concert, Let the Music Ring. This concert will feature a musical variety like you've never seen! Where else can you hear music by Benjamin Britten, and Mel Torme in the same show? There will also be folk songs from Liberia, Ghana and Costa Rica, songs about Hanukkah, Kwanza and Christmas, madrigals, gospel, spirituals, and even a sing-along! Come prepared to be moved by the joyful sounds of over 100 young singers from all over Oakland, and join in on the audience sing-a-long of holiday classics! We always have a packed house for this holiday show, so be sure to get your tickets in advance and enjoy discounted ticket prices for buying early.
