NYU MEISA and CMJ Battle of the Bands September 20, 2008

NYU MEISA is teaming with CMJ to present the Battle of the Bands-- THIS SATURDAY, September 20th at 7:30 in Kimmel's E&L (4th Floor).

NYU MEISA is hosting a head-to-head with NYU's finest and most badass in a Battle of The Bands that will MELT YOUR FACE OFF.

The following eight finalists will compete before a panel of music industry judges for the opportunity to play at 2008's CMJ Music Marathon.

* Britney Boras
* Condom Pocket
* Chris Frank
* Knockout Theory
* Andrew Wotman
* Tourmaline
* Mass Transit

Finalists in the Photography contest will also be battling out for the winning spot. Finalists are:

Frank Joseph Benitez
Jesse Dittmar
Lexi Lambros
Maria I Nunez Del Prado

With special guest Charles Kangas AKA 'Chaz' MCing the night!

And Filmographer William Wei recording the event.

REMEMBER: Each artist or band's fan participation will be factored into the judging, so come out and
show your support for friends and classmates!

We will also be raffling off 10 badges for the CMJ Music Marathon ($275 value) for only $1 a ticket!

Ticket price is $4 in advance, and $7 on the day of the show. Tickets are available on campus at Ticket Central (second floor of Kimmel Center).
