NY Night Train's Le Cheetah: International Discotheque Psychedelique w/DJs Jonathan Toubin and Josh Styles February 27, 2010

Get down deep into the morning in a psychedelic ocean of smoke, bubbles, strobes, projections (Mighty Robot AV Squad), and go go girls and boys (from Golden Triangle, Marmaladies, Beacon's Closet and more). Tonight's party will feature the big beat, lights, and general aesthetic of a 60s discotheque - but revised from a more contemporary tripped-out and international perspective. North America's most popular night club rock and soul DJ Jonathan Toubin and the country's #1 Freakbeat purveyor Josh Styles join together to rotate a format that includes not only 60s discotheque classics but loads of fuzzy movers, foreign language jams, and obscurities. We get going around 11 and plan to shake it 'til you just can't take it. New York Night Train, Live With Animals, and Mighty Robot AV Squad, the entire Animal Train crew reunited for an amazing cause... Every dollar made at this event benefits the legal defence of Heather and John Henry of the LA band Static Static.
